Heavy rain and a sodden outfield resulted in the stoppage of play from the second day of the second Test between the West Indies and Pakistan at Sabina Park on Saturday without a pitch. Pakistan resumed their first innings on the third day, weather permitting, at 212 for four after batting. Having lost the first Test at the same venue by one wicket a week earlier, the visitors will see the day’s loss as a setback to their quest for a series win.
The West Indies are aiming for their first test series victory over Pakistan in 21 years.
