Birmingham Phoenix captain Liam Livingstone went unbeaten with 92 runs from 40 balls to help his team beat Northern Superchargers at The Hundred on Tuesday. One of the 10 sixes he hit landed in the stands and the ball was caught quite spectacularly by a fan, even as he fell over a chair, but balanced himself by climbing across the row of seats in front of him. The fan received loud cheers from his fellow spectators, even as he acknowledged the applause and celebrated the catch.
Another great evening of entertainment inside #TheHundred
The only thing better than all of Liam Livingstone’s sixes were the massive catches at Headingley. Catch of the night here pic.twitter.com/6oTte47nxp

That catch may have given the Superchargers some hope, if not for grabbing him on the wrong side of the line.
Phoenix chased 144 from 100 balls and sauntered towards goal thanks to a 106-run second-wicket tie between Finn Allen (42 out of 26) and Livingstone, winning in just 74 balls.
This win sent Pheonix to the top of the points list with 12 points from six games. Superchargers, on the other hand, are in fifth place with seven points from eight games.
Previously, Livingstone also played with the ball when he played 3 back for 25 out of 20 balls, rejecting Superchargers opener Chris Lynn, their captain David Willey and Dane Vilas, as well as contributing to the run of Superchargers’ top scorer Tom Kohler-Cadmore (71 ).
Adam Milne and Ben Howell each got two wickets for Phoenix as Superchargers were limited to a mediocre total.
Livingstone has appeared in three ODIs and eight T20Is for England since his international debut in a T20I vs South Africa in 2017.
