Vladimir Putin said Russia does not want militants from Afghanistan to arrive under cover of refugees

Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Sunday that the conflict in Afghanistan has direct consequences for the security situation in Russia, Russian news agencies reported.
Putin criticized an idea by some Western countries to send refugees from Afghanistan to neighboring Central Asian countries while their visas for the United States and Europe are processed.
He said Russia does not want militants from Afghanistan to arrive under cover of refugees, the RIA news agency quoted him as saying.
