A Pakistan Air Force (PAF) training plane crashed Friday during a routine exercise near the Attock area of Punjab province.
“Both pilots were successfully ejected. No loss of life or property on the ground has been reported to date,” the PAF said in a statement.
A commission of inquiry has been commissioned to investigate the cause of the accident.
This is the third such crash reported by the PAF in the past 18 months. Last September, a PAF plane crashed near Attock in Punjab province during training exercises.
Similarly, in February of the same year, a Mirage jet crashed near Shorkot in Punjab.
