Kalyan Singh’s health had deteriorated in July this year, after which he was admitted to the Dr Ram Manohar Lohia Institute of Medical Sciences in Lucknow.
The former governor of Rajasthan was admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU) of the Sanjay Gandhi PGI on July 4.
Since then, several union ministers have visited Singh, including Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Home Affairs Minister Amit Shah and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had also inquired about Singh’s health. PM Modi also spoke to Chief Minister Adityanath and asked him to ensure that Kalyan Singh receives the best possible treatment.
