According to the Centre’s guidelines, the government of Madhya Pradesh has issued a warning ahead of the Independence Day, Home Affairs Minister Narottam Mishra said on Saturday.
Speaking to reporters, he also said immediate action will be taken if any suspicious activity is spotted.
Meanwhile, the state government has assigned several districts to ministers for hoisting the tricolor on August 15.
Accordingly, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will raise the flag in the state capital and ministers will participate in similar functions in 30 other districts and read the CM’s message, an official order said.
In 20 districts, the respective district collectors will raise the national flag. Assembly chairman Girish Gautam will attend the Independence Day function in Rewa, it said.
Governor Mangubhai Patel, CM Chouhan and other ministers greeted the people on the eve of Independence Day.
