The government is committed to vaccinating everyone under the COVID-19 vaccination program by December this year, Union Minister G Kishan Reddy said in Hyderabad on Sunday.

“We want to contact the last person vaccinated in the country in December this year, in the most remote part. “As many as 153 countries have applied for our vaccines and some have even paid the advance from the respective companies, but the government has imposed an export ban until the people in our country have been vaccinated,” he said.
The Union minister recently said that 1.33 crore people were vaccinated in one day and that the government is proactively trying to vaccinate everyone by December (2021) so that the country’s tourism industry can open up by January 2022.
The tourism industry has been negatively impacted over the past two years, whether it was travel agents, tour operators and tourism industry workers who experienced significant hardship during this time, he said.
The center is working to help them from September 15, Kishan Reddy said, adding: “We plan to provide Rs one lakh financial aid to tour guides from the Tourism Department, similarly Rs 10 lakhs to tour operators. .. we will call for requests from these people from September 15.”
He went on to say that from January 2022 there will be massive publicity about the Indian tourism industry abroad.
“Even in our country, we will organize “Dekho Apna Pradesh” to target homegrown tourists. The Prime Minister actually wanted every Indian who can afford it to visit at least 15 tourist places in the country and we will encourage Indians to opting for tourism in the country,” he said.
He went on to say that the government has started drafting a tourism policy, which will be available to the public on the website.
Special emphasis will be placed in that golf tourism, which will attract many golfers and enthusiasts, he said.
“We will consult with the golf associations in the country and prepare a plan, which will be published through Indian embassies around the world and will encourage golf tourism in a big way to attract golf tourists,” the Union minister said.
