A 20-day mega event-“Seva and Samarpan Abhiyan— will begin from Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 71st birthday on Sept. 17 to mark his “20 years in public service,” the ruling BJP has said.
The party plans to hold massive cleansing and blood donation campaigns and multiple events as part of the 20-day celebrations – BJP chief JP Nadda has instructed all state units to do so. Five crore postcards will be sent to the Prime Minister from BJP stands across India to congratulate him on his efforts as “party members committed to public service,” an official statement said.
Billboards will also be placed as part of the campaign, thanking Prime Minister Modi “for free food grains and vaccination for the poor”.
In a letter, party members have been ordered to hold special exhibitions dedicated to the prime minister’s life. The virtual events can also be visited via the NaMo App.
“All public representatives will go to ration distribution centers and shoot video clips to thank the respected prime minister,” the party statement said. The youth section will also hold blood donation camps.
In Uttar Pradesh, where elections will be held next year, party workers will campaign in 71 locations to clean up the Ganges River.
“Intellectuals and famous personalities will be invited to attend events focusing on Prime Minister Modi’s life and achievements. Opinions and articles of prominent personalities will be published in various languages to ensure that the message reaches the public,” the party statement said.
The BJP emphasized its efforts for “Dalits, Adivasis, backward communities and farmers”, the BJP recalled the election of Gujarat’s Prime Minister as Chief Minister on October 7, 2001, which explains why the 20-day event will end on October 7.
Health camps will be held at the district level, while food products will be distributed among ‘Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Yojana’ where women leaders will play a key role. “All representatives will go to vaccination centers with the aim of spreading awareness and thanking the prime minister,” party members have been told.
On October 2, Gandhi Jayanti, a massive clean-up campaign will be held and a public message will be sent condemning the use of Khadic and local products.
Children orphaned by Covid are registered by the BJP staff so that they can benefit from PM-Cares.
All gifts received by the Prime Minister will be auctioned on the government’s website – pmmemontos.gov.in.
BJP National Secretary General Kailash Vijayvargiya D Purandeswari Vinod Sonkar and Rashtriya Kisan Morcha President Rajkumar Chahar have been tasked with overseeing the events.
All party employees have been told to follow the Covid rules while organizing the events.
