The new portable Marshall speaker promises a heavy sound
Marshall’s new portable loudspeaker in India offers spatial audio support with multi-directional sound quality.
Marshall refreshed its speaker line-up in India this month by launching the new Middleton portable speaker. The company says it’s one of the toughest portable speakers with four speakers and offers durability against water and dust. The Middleton’s design takes its aesthetic from the previous iterations, but all we can focus on is sound quality, as with every other Marshall product.

The Marshall Middleton speaker costs Rs 31,999 and even then it is one of the cheaper Marshall speakers you can buy in the country.

Marshall speakers have a unique design identity that includes a black housing and the Marshall logo in the center of the mesh. The company has gradually made changes to make the speaker durable thanks to its IP67 rating that protects it from water and dust. The brand is also changing the materials used to make the speaker and recycled plastic is part of the ingredients used to make the Middleton speakers.
In terms of sound quality, Marshall has equipped the speaker with a quad setup with True Stereophonic technology that apparently offers multi-directional stereo sound. You can tune the equalizer to your preferences through Marshall’s app and discover new features coming through new updates.
The Middleton speaker weighs 1.8 kg, which is not that heavy and you have a battery that can last more than 20 hours. You can even use the speaker as a power bank to charge other devices.
Marshall also markets the Acton, Stanmore, and Woburn loudspeakers for buyers.
