Realme UI 2.0 has started rolling out for some smartphones of the Chinese company. Based on Android 11, Realme UI 2.0 is being rolled out for some Realme X, Realme 6 and Realme 6i according to the company. Realme Narzo 10A is also reportedly getting the latest update. These smartphones were all part of the beta program a few months ago and are now getting the latest build with various bug fixes and improvements. With the update, the handsets get features like user interface (UI) customization, improved dark mode styles, and more.
In addition to the usual Android 11 features like UI customization, three new Dark Mode styles, Tone Tunes and more, the latest update also optimizes system performance and stability.
According to posts on the Realme community forum, Realme X is getting UI version RMX1901EX_11.F.03. On the other hand, Realme 6 UI version gets RMX2001_11.C.12 while Realme 6i gets RMX2001_11.C.12. According to a report from RM Update, Realme Narzo 10A will receive UI version RMX2020_11_C.06. However, since the company’s community forum has not posted about the Narzo 10A update, the information should be taken with a grain of salt.
Realme UI 2.0 update changelog
According to the community posts, Realme UI 2.0 offers features like three dark mode styles: enhanced, medium and soft. The display contrast can now be adjusted automatically according to the ambient light. The latest update also has an app drawer feature that allows Realme users to sort apps by name, install time, and usage. The smartphones get an option to select and uninstall multiple apps at once using this feature.
Realme also introduces the “Tone tunes” feature with the latest update. This will link successive notification tones to form a single melody. Once the update is complete, Realme users will now also be able to share their hotspot with others via QR code. Among other features, “App Lock” and “Low Battery Messages” have also been added.
Since the update is being rolled out in batches, some users may receive it sooner than others. It is recommended that you update your phone while it is charging and connected to a strong Wi-Fi network.
