A wholesome video of a homeless man looking younger after a barber gave him a new haircut has stunned the internet. The man was approached by Joshua Santiago of Empowering Cuts, who gave him a fantastic makeover. He provides street sleepers in the United States with free makeovers, according to his Instagram bio.
In the video, the homeless man can be seen sitting on a chair with a heavy and disheveled beard. Finally, the barber uses his machine to trim the beard and his hair. The video shows that the man was unable to wash his hair for several days. The hairdresser gives the man a haircut and he immediately looks younger, fresh and clean.
Since being shared on Instagram, the video has been viewed 27,000 times and has more than 1,700 likes. It’s titled, “Everyone Deserves To Feel Good About Themselves!”
One user commented, “You are such a blessing to these guys. I ride public transport and was recently told by a homeless man that he feels overlooked and is used to it. It broke my heart. So thank you for making them feel cared & watched.”

In 2020, a similar incident in Brazil reunited a homeless man with his family after his photo went viral online. Joao Coelho Guimaraes met his mother and sister after living on the streets for ten years. His family assumed he was dead, but recognized him when his photo was posted on Instagram by a businessman named Alessandro Lobo, who owns a menswear and barber shop, according to Unilad.
