A young man committed suicide after firing six bullets at his teacher at a primary school in the Ikdil area of Uttar Pradesh’s Etawah district, police officials reported Tuesday.
According to police, the woman was admitted to a private hospital in Etawah, where doctors said she had been shot six times. The doctors said her condition is critical and she is being treated.
Relatives of the woman said they were informed by a commuter that she was injured on the road.
Etawah Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Jayprakash Singh, the police of various police stations, DM Avnish Kumar Rai also reached the spot where the woman was shot.
Etawah SSP Jaiprakash Singh gave information about the case and said, “A woman shot at first came to light, but when the young man’s dead body was recovered, many secrets of both incidents were revealed.”
Mr Singh added that the injured woman and man knew each other. Further details are awaited.
