The Indian army had set up a field hospital in Turkey’s earthquake-hit Iskenderun, where 106 rescued people are being treated.
A video shared by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs showed the rescued patients being treated at the field hospital in Iskenderun, Turkey.
The Indian Army’s team of medical specialists is working 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to help the wounded.

The Indian Army field hospital set up in Hatay, Turkey, to provide relief to people hit by the quake reopened on Thursday.
âArmy field hospital in Iskenderun, Hatay, Turkiye has started to function running medical, surgical and emergency departments; X-Ray Lab & Medical Store,â Foreign Minister S Jaishankar tweeted on Thursday.
According to Jaishankar, an additional team from the Directorate General of Public Information will work 24×7 to provide relief to the affected people.
The army field hospital has been set up under India’s ‘Operation Dost’ to provide relief to the earthquake-stricken people of Turkey.
Mr Jaishankar, who shared photos of the facility on Twitter on Wednesday, posted: “This field hospital in Hatay, Turkiye will treat those affected by the earthquake. Our team of medical and critical care specialists and equipment are preparing to handle emergencies. “
Earlier on Thursday, India’s Additional Directorate General of Public Information (ADG-PI) tweeted an image of a female Indian army officer hugging a Turkish woman in Turkey’s earthquake-stricken areas.
The tweet read: “#OperationDost We Care. #IndianArmy #Turkiye.”
Mr Jaishankar said on Thursday that the sixth plane from India carrying rescue personnel, supplies and medical equipment for earthquake relief has reached Turkey.
The sixth flight carried more rescue teams, dog teams and essential medicines for the earthquake-hit country.
Meanwhile, according to NewsMadura, the death toll from the devastating earthquakes that hit Turkey and Syria earlier this week has passed 21,000.
At least 18,342 people died in Turkey on Friday, according to the Disaster and Emergency Management Agency (AFAD).
