According to the Ministry of Railways, special trains are planned to connect major destinations across the country on railway routes such as Delhi- Patna, Delhi- Bhagalpur, Delhi-Muzaffarpur, Delhi-Saharsa, Gorakhpur-Mumbai, Kolkata-Puri, Guwahati-Ranchi, New Delhi- Sri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra, Jaipur- Bandra Terminus and Pune- Danapur etc.

Crowd control measures through formation queuing at terminal stations supervised by Railway Protection Force (RPF) personnel for orderly entry of passengers into unreserved carriages.

“Additional RPF personnel have been deployed at major stations to ensure passenger safety. At major stations, agents are deployed for emergency services to ensure the smooth running of trains. Staff are deployed to different sections to prioritize any disruptions to train service. to deal with,” the ministry said.

Measures have been taken for frequent and timely reporting of arrivals and departures of trains with platform numbers.
