Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Tuesday that National Digital Architecture (N-DEAR) is likely to play an important role in eradicating inequalities in the country’s education system.
During the inauguration of the Shikshak Parv conclave via video conference in New Delhi, Prime Minister Modi said: “N-DEAR is likely to play an important role in eradicating inequality in education and modernizing it. N-DEAR will act as a “superconnect” between different academic activities in the same way the UPI interface revolutionized the banking industry. The country is making technology like Talking Books and Audiobooks part of education.”
The Prime Minister said “Vidyanjali 2.0” is a platform for the country’s determination to “Sabka Prayas” of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas“.
In this society, our private sector must come forward and contribute to increasing the quality of education in government schools, he said.
“Vidyanjali 2.0”, launched a portal to facilitate education volunteers, donors and CSR contributors for school development.
PM Modi also launched the School Quality Assessment and Assurance Framework (SQAAF), which would address the lack of a common scientific framework across dimensions such as curriculum, pedagogy, assessment, infrastructure, inclusive practices and governance processes. SQAAF helps bridge this inequality.
The theme of “Shikshak Parv-2021” is “Quality and Sustainable Schools: Lessons from Schools in India”. Its celebration will encourage innovative practices not only to ensure continuity of education at all levels, but also to improve quality, inclusive practices and sustainability in schools across the country.
Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and Union Education Minister Jitin Prasada also attended the event.
