Meta has launched a number of new “creative expression” features for creators on Facebook, including the ability to create rolls of up to 90 seconds, previously limited to just 60 seconds.
The company announced this on Friday from its ‘Meta for Creators’ account on Facebook. Creators can also now easily create ‘Ready-made’ Reels from their ‘Memories’, just like they can on Instagram.
The company also introduced a new “Grooves” feature that automatically aligns and syncs the movement in the user’s video with the rhythm of the song.
The new “Templates” tool allows users to easily create rolls of trending templates.
Last month, Meta announced it was updating Facebook’s “Why am I seeing this ad?” tool to provide more transparency about how it uses machine learning models to deliver ads to users.
The company said the tool will explain “how your activity, both on and off our technologies, can inform the machine learning models we use to shape and serve the ads you see.”
