More than 10 lakh people have received free treatment in these 100 Aam Aadmi clinics in Punjab so far.

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann is set to open 500 ‘Aam Aadmi Clinics’ (Mohalla Clinics) in Amritsar on 27 January.
AAP consultant Arvind Kejriwal will be present at the event as chief guest.
Previously, Mr. Mann opened 100 Aam Aadmi clinics on August 15, 2022 on the occasion of Independence Day.
More than 10 lakh people have received free treatment in these 100 Aam Aadmi clinics so far. While more than three lakh people benefited from free testing, the government said in an official statement.
Speaking at a press conference in Mohali, Finance Minister Harpal Singh Cheema and Health Minister Dr Balbir Singh said that the inauguration program would take place in Amritsar on January 27.
Harpal Singh Cheema said, “It is a matter of great pride that the health revolution in Punjab started within just a year of the formation of the Aam Aadmi Party government. Before the elections, party chief Arvind Kejriwal had given a guarantee to the people of Punjab that in order to provide free treatment, Mohalla Clinics would be set up in Punjab. Now the government is fulfilling the promises and working diligently to fulfill its dream of making the state Rangla Punjab again.”
Minister of Health Dr. Citing the successes of Aam Aadmi Clinic, Balbir said that more than one million people have availed Aam Aadmi Clinic so far and more than three lakh people have been examined for free. Medicines were also given to the people for free.
Dr. Balbir said the AAP government’s first priority is to ensure that the people of Punjab receive free education and the best treatment in the state.
“If the children of common people get free education, treatment, medicine and health checks, they will save a lot of money. They will use this money for their daily needs. moving forward,” he added.
