Gasoline, Diesel Price Today: Petrol and diesel prices are stable in the four metros on Monday, September 6, 2021. In the national capital, petrol prices were unchanged at Rs 101.19 per liter and diesel prices were constant at Rs 88.62 per liter, according to Indian Oil Corporation. Of the four metro cities, petrol and diesel prices are still the highest in Mumbai, according to the state oil refinery. Fuel rates vary from country to country due to value added tax.
State-run oil refineries such as Indian Oil, Bharat Petroleum and Hindustan Petroleum revise fuel tariffs daily, taking into account crude oil prices in international markets and exchange rates of the rupee and dollar. Any changes in petrol and diesel prices will be implemented daily from 6am.
Meanwhile, oil prices extended losses on Monday after the world’s largest exporter Saudi Arabia cut crude oil prices for Asia over the weekend, signaling global markets are well supplied.
Brent oil futures for November fell 57 cents or 0.8 percent to $72.04 a barrel, while US West Texas Intermediate crude for October was $68.73 a barrel, down 56 cents or 0.8 per cent.
