Petrol and diesel tariff today in Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai, Mumbai: Petrol tariffs were stable
Gasoline, Diesel Price Today: Petrol and diesel prices remained unchanged in the four metros on Saturday, August 21, 2021. In the national capital, petrol prices remained stable at Rs 101.84 per liter, while diesel is sold at Rs 89.27 per liter, according to Indian Oil Corporation. However, diesel prices in Kolkata have been cut by up to 20 paise today. In Mumbai, petrol prices remained unchanged at Rs 107.83 per litre, while revised diesel prices were Rs 96.84 per litre. Of the four metro cities, petrol and diesel prices are highest in Mumbai, according to the state-run oil refinery. Fuel rates vary from country to country due to value added tax (VAT).

State-run oil refineries such as Indian Oil, Bharat Petroleum and Hindustan Petroleum revise fuel tariffs daily, taking into account crude oil prices in international markets and exchange rates of the rupee and dollar. Any changes in petrol and diesel prices will be implemented daily from 6am.
On Friday, August 20, the Brent oil future, the global oil benchmark, fell 0.59 percent to $66.06 a barrel. Against the US dollar, the rupee fell 15 paise to 74.39 yesterday.
