Soon, 1,139 homebuyers from three construction projects in Greater Noida (West), also known as Noida Extension, will finally receive property rights as the Greater Noida Authority has granted permission for the registration of these apartments.
“On Monday, Greater Noida Authority CEO NG Ravi Kumar handed over the letter of authorization to the representatives of the builders. He instructed them to start the registration process for the buyers’ apartments without delay,” an official statement said.
The three builders involved are Samriddhi, Coco County and Prosper, and have already deposited the required funds, leading to the issuance of the occupancy certificates and registration authorization for the 1,139 apartments.
Soumya Srivastava, the Authority official with special service, said that among the 1,139 flats, there are 216 flats from Samriddhi, 571 from Coco County and 352 from Prosper group housing projects.
Kumar has stressed the need to speed up the registration process for the apartments in the name of the buyers, the statement said.
“Once the outstanding dues are paid by the builders, the Authority will immediately issue certificates of use and allow the registration of these flats,” said Kumar.
Greater Noida has thousands of completed and pending flats. The register of apartments despite ownership by home buyers has been a persistent problem in the region for years. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has also assured residents of finding a “permanent solution” to the blockade.
