After a year of pandemic, Katherine Lewin, the former editor-in-chief of the restaurant platform The Infatuation, was missing dinners. Assuming she wasn’t alone, Ms. Lewin opened a bright shop stocked with entertainment supplies. “People are intimidated, but it can be easy,” she said. (Mrs. Lewin is happy to advise.) Shelves are stocked with food items such as canned seafood, crackers, and spices, and there is a refrigerator stocked with cold cuts and cheese. She also sells She Wolf breads. The central counter and the wall behind it contain cutlery, plates, cake trays, linen napkins, barware and glassware, including some vintage pieces. Behind the shop is a sheltered outdoor area with benches and a large picnic table; she plans to hold events there with local restaurants. Ecommerce is coming.
