“Letitia Wright suffered minor injuries today while filming a stunt for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. She is currently being treated at a local hospital and is expected to be released soon,” a Marvel spokesperson told the publication on Wednesday.
NewsMadura has reached out to Wright representatives for comment.
The incident took place while filming in Boston. According to the source, Wright’s injuries are not expected to affect the film’s production schedule.
Wright reprises her role as Shuri, a Wakandan princess and accomplished inventor. Ryan Coogler is back to direct the sequel to the 2018 hit starring the late Chadwick Boseman.
